Anantara Villas: Relaxed days on Quy Nhon beach

Anantara offers a luxurious villa experience amidst pristine nature along the coast of Quy Nhon, a peaceful tourist destination in Central Vietnam.

Just in time for the holidays earlier this year, Anantara, the most praised resort chain in Southeast Asia, opened 26 villas (1-2 bedrooms) to welcome guests next to Quy Nhon Beach. Nestled next to rolling hills and mountains, this villa complex brings us back to peaceful nature, to the shore of fine sand and ivory water. Visitors here can leisurely enjoy excellent service in the hotel, or explore the surrounding area and the city’s typical seafood cuisine.

Advantages

Pure nature, isolated beach hidden behind smooth green hills

Views of the sea and neighboring islands from the bedroom and bathroom

Infinity pool in every villa

Innovative Vietnamese restaurant with traditional options

Location

One hour flight from Saigon, this hotel is located in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh. To get here, you can fly from Hanoi or Saigon to Phu Cat Airport. Another option is the North-South railway from Da Nang or Nha Trang to Quy Nhon. Or you can also take the bus from Nha Trang to this city.

No matter how you arrive, Anantara will send a BMW X5 to pick you up from your landing place. The car is equipped with WiFi and an iPad for you to choose music on the one-hour journey back to the hotel. Looking out the car window, you will see vast fields before reaching Quy Nhon, and then the coastal hills where Anantara is hidden.

Room

There are two options for you: one-bedroom apartments right next to the ocean, and two-bedroom side-by-side apartments like ours up on the hill. Our family booked a two-bedroom apartment in December. The two bedrooms are not connected with separate entrances, ensuring guests’ privacy in each room. Opposite the bed is a transparent glass wall that captures the sea view in front of the house to the offshore islands. If you dare to “risk” showering with the curtains open, you can enjoy the same view. Each villa is equipped with an infinity pool and a terrace.

Dining experience

This villa complex includes the Sea Fire Salt restaurant, ready to serve Vietnamese and international dishes every day. Main dishes include seafood and meat grilled on Himalayan salt blocks. Knowing that the guests are Vietnamese, the chef will treat you to traditional dishes off the menu such as sour soup and stir-fried squid. The most famous menu items are Vietnamese-style beef salad and mixed seafood grilled with Himalayan salt. Thanks to its prime location, the seafood in this area is very fresh.

Breakfast at Sea Fire Salt is also very hearty with a variety of yogurt, oatmeal, bacon, bread, fresh fruit juice, and smoothies – all for free! If you’re still hungry later, you can order additional dishes separately.

Other amenities

During the day, you can immerse yourself in the infinity pool in your private room, socialize with other guests in the large swimming pool and bar, or stroll along Anantara’s secluded beach. If you want to relax, massage, exfoliation, and nail services are always available at the spa. The spa also has a hair salon and tea room. When cleaning the room every night, the waiter often gives us some macarons or chocolate-covered strawberries to show the resort’s loyal hospitality.
