Fireworks locations for New Year’s Day 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City
According to the New Year’s Eve 2024 celebration plan of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the artistic fireworks program will take place for 15 minutes from 0h to 0h15 on January 1, 2024, at two shooting locations:
- High-altitude shooting at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel.
- Low-altitude shooting at Dam Sen Cultural Park, District 11.
The countdown program to welcome the new year 2024 will take place on the evening of December 31, 2023, at Ho Chi Minh Statue Park and Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, District 1.
Fireworks locations for New Year’s Day 2024 in Hanoi
According to the announcement, Hanoi will have 5 locations for artistic fireworks to celebrate the New Year 2024, including: Hanoi Post Office (75 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hoan Kiem District); Thong Nhat Park (354A Le Duan Street, Dong Da District); Nguyen Hoang Ton Flower Garden (Nguyen Hoang Ton Street, Nhat Tan, Tay Ho District); My Dinh National Stadium (Le Duc Tho Street, My Dinh, Tu Liem District).
Additionally, Hanoi will also organize a countdown festival to welcome the new year 2024 on the evening of December 31.
Fireworks locations for New Year’s Day 2024 in Lao Cai
On December 19, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed with the proposal of the Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee to organize a low-altitude fireworks display for New Year’s Day 2024 in Sa Pa town.
According to this plan, the fireworks program, coordinated by the Lao Cai Tourism Association and the Sa Pa Town People’s Committee, will take place at 0h on January 1, 2024, at the Quan San area, Sa Pa ward. The fireworks will last no more than 15 minutes. This program will not use state budget funds.
This is one of the activities in the series of programs commemorating 120 years of Sa Pa and welcoming the new year 2023 organized by the Sa Pa Tourism Association and Sa Pa town.
Fireworks locations for New Year’s Day 2024 in Hai Phong
Hai Phong City will organize a low-altitude fireworks display after the conclusion of the “Hai Phong – Welcoming the New Year 2024” artistic program, lasting no more than 15 minutes, starting at 0h on January 1, 2024, at the area near the Hai Phong City Theater. The funding for the implementation is mobilized from social sources.
This is the first time Hai Phong City has organized low-altitude fireworks for the New Year, aiming to create a festive and joyful atmosphere for the people during the celebration of the new year of 2024 and commemorating the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2024).
The city has directed relevant units to organize the “Hai Phong – Welcoming the New Year 2024” artistic program, affirming and reviewing the outstanding achievements of the Party, government, military, and people of the city in 2023; encouraging all classes of the city’s people to continue striving for more victories in 2024.
Fireworks locations for New Year’s Day 2024 in Quang Binh
With the approval of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Binh will organize a single fireworks display to welcome the new year 2024 on the night of December 31 at the Regal Legend project of the investor Regal Group (Vo Nguyen Giap street, Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city).
The fireworks program is part of the international music festival and countdown to the new year, expected to attract 10,000 spectators. The main stage is located at Angel Park, the largest park in the 21-hectare urban area, and will open its doors to all visitors.
Fireworks locations for New Year’s Day 2024 in Nghe An According to the plan, the Countdown program – “Lam River Spirit” for the new year 2024 will take place from 21h15 to 24h on December 31, 2023, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City. The highlight of the program is a 15-minute low-altitude artistic fireworks display starting at 0h on January 1, 2024.
New Year’s Day 2024, how many days off for workers?
According to the regulations in Article 112 of the 2019 Labor Code, every year, workers will have one day off (January 1st of the Gregorian calendar) with full pay.
However, as January 1, 2024, falls on a Monday, workers will have a continuous break with the two days off on the preceding weekend, Saturday, December 30, 2023, and Sunday, December 31, 2023 (for officials, public servants, employees in units with a fixed weekly two-day off schedule on Saturdays and Sundays).
Thus, the total number of days off for the New Year’s Day 2024 holiday for workers is 3 days (from December 30, 2023, to January 1, 2024).
Workers working in units with a one-day off per week schedule (Sunday) will have a 2-day break for the New Year’s Day 2024 holiday, lasting from December 31, 2023, to January 1, 2024.
