There are many different ways to learn about the culture of any city when you arrive. Besides the attractive dishes that are hard to refuse, there are probably drinks that are easily “addictive.”
1. The Haflington
Located in the attic of an old house on Hang Ma Street, The Haflington is designed as a private museum with typical European architecture, using many wood materials combined with warm yellow lights, accentuating the wall paintings and antiques or animal specimens from small to large.
The lighting here is set up quite dark, with only dim small lights or the moonlight from the transparent ceiling, creating a mysterious and mystical feeling, just like getting lost in ancient museums.
The shop has two floors: the second floor has a private room area with a comfortable sofa. The main floor – where the bar is located is also the space where people often choose to sit, with high chairs suitable for couples chatting.
As a cocktail bar with opening hours when the sun has not yet gone out, you can enjoy glasses of wine right after work, an interesting experience with the spirit of drinking if you like, nothing to wait for.

2. Kuusi by Tung
A new model in Hanoi – molecular cocktail. Kuusi offers creative modern cocktails, for those who love something new and different.
If high-end food has “fine dining”, then high-end drinks (in this case alcohol) will have “cocktail tasting.” At Kuusi, every drink is pre-menued, with only 5 types, and flavors go from mild to strong. Kuusi offers 2 different levels of “charging” for you, “quick charging” with a short menu (3 drinks ) and if you need to “recharge” there is a long menu (5 drinks).
Kuusi uses machines that apply chemical and physical principles to influence the molecular structure of the ingredients in the drink, so each glass of wine has a strange aroma and taste than usual. Obviously familiar local ingredients (chocolate, cinnamon leaves…) but in a new shape and color.
Brief description: A new model – cocktail tasting menu. Kuusi is like an emotional “charging” station with molecular cocktails ranging from light to strong, from euphoria to passion, encapsulated in only 2 modes: “fast charge” and “full charge” (short menu, long menu)

3. Hai-BAR-Bon
The exact rendezvous for the saying “drink coffee in the morning and drink wine in the evening.” Hai Bon specializes in serving coffee during the day and at night is Hai-BAR-Bon, with a cocktail bar menu.
There are not many street bar models in Vietnam, and even rarer in Hanoi. Hai-BAR-Bon pioneered and made a strong impression, bringing high-end, luxurious drinks closer and friendlier to drinkers at affordable prices.
Originally a cafe, some cocktail drinks here are also modified from this ingredient. Try Espresso Martini, you will be surprised to see the flavor of milky brown coffee in an alcoholic drink.
Simple, cozy space with a front-facing a busy street. An interesting experience is when this is a rare bar where you can hold your laptop to work while ordering a cocktail to “slightly” relax and then sublimate your creativity.

4. LTAS
LTAS (abbreviated name) originated from a personal music listening room and later opened its doors to welcome new friends with the same love of music.
To get to this “music room”, you will need to get directions from someone who frequents the shop. Or directly text the shop to receive directions about the location and information about the shop (dress requirements, common space rules…).
Indeed, coming to LTAS requires a lot of fate, but when fate comes, you will enjoy the emotional music space. With limited visibility and only a small amount of light, your personal experience will be maximized – with a full focus on hearing, taste, and touch.
The menu at LTAS is not fixed, you will have a bartender come to the table to chat and advise on suitable drinks. Cocktails are different every day, especially Wednesday is Whiskey Night.
Brief description: No address, no sign, a secret speakeasy bar known to customers by word of mouth. This private “music room” will make you enjoy absolute relaxation, with “confident” glasses of whiskey and legendary music albums of the past.
